Made by one man – Rich Edwards – this is a trim, retro-themed shooter with chunky pixel graphics, a SEGA Mega Drive colour palette and a jazzy chiptune soundtrack. If you hadn’t noticed, Pineapple Smash Crew is heavily influenced by Cannon Fodder. Who later died alongside Steve and Bob (in the same mission, all together, boxed into a corner by an aggressive boss monster – quite annoying) and were replaced by JOPS, STOO and RJ. Life goes on, as it always does, and Keith was replaced by JOOLS. Despite a max level character (level 8) sporting a dapper suit of dark armour with a skull emblazoned across the torso, these chaps remain flimsy throughout. Maybe I can convince the hubby to convert our sitting area in our master bedroom into my studio space. Which is crazy because I was in a super hurry to get this shot done because we had guests coming over for dinner this night and I didn’t want the dining room a total disaster when they got there. I am absolutely in love with how these photos turned out. I need to do more garnishes like this and drinks that are just shorter in the glass. How freaking gorgeous is this pineapple garnish?!? I love it so much!
